3/18/26 Greetings Wildhearted Wanderers, Hope-Dealers, Bridge-Builders and Bringers of Light! I’m going to blame homeschooling. Yep. My junior and senior years of high school, I was homeschooled. And it was during those years that I realized something important: once I finished the required coursework each day, I was free to study what truly fascinated me. Ahhhh… exploration! The problem was, back then, there was no internet and resources were scarce. Mostly, it was the Encyclopedia Britannica or whatever our local library offered. Still, I learned basic research skills and how to chase answers to life’s persistent questions within those limits. Somewhere along the way, I discovered that books were the key—especially for the deeper, spiritual questions that kept me awake at night. That curiosity hasn’t gone anywhere. Today, I read one to two hours a day, often juggling five books at a time in “study mode.” My library has shaped my spiritual path more than anything else, and yes—I still prefer the printed page over digital. There’s something about underlining a passage, letting it sink into my hands, my mind, my being. I also want to give a shout-out to “metaphysical stores.” One in particular stands out: The Catalpa Tree in Grabill, Indiana. (Yes, Indiana! Right in the middle of Amish country—so wild.) Stores like this pulled the wool off my eyes and opened my curiosity to entirely new realms of spiritual exploration. The Catalpa Tree offers a staggering selection of books on topics I hadn’t even imagined—EFT tapping, Native American philosophy, meditation, energy healing, extraterrestrial studies—you name it. Many of the books in my library came from long visits in that section, leaving with no fewer than ten at a time. So, maybe my love of diverse topics will resonate with some of you. As I browsed my shelves to pick a few books to share, I ended up with a stack of seven—and finally narrowed it to four that have profoundly influenced my spiritual awareness. Here they are, in no particular order: The Celestine Prophecy, by James Redfield (This is book one of four in the series) The story this book tells is a gripping one of adventure and discovery, but it is also a guidebook that has the power to crystallize your perceptions of why you are where you are in life...and to direct your steps with a new energy and optimism as you head into tomorrow. The Power of Now—A Guide to Spiritual Enlightenment by Echkart Tolle To make the journey into the Power of Now we will need to leave our analytical mind and its false created self, the ego, behind. From the very first page of this extraordinary book, we move rapidly into a significantly higher altitude where we breathe a lighter air. We become connected to the indestructible essence of our Being, “the eternal, ever-present One Life beyond myriad forms of life that are subject to birth and death.” Although the journey is challenging, Eckart Tolle uses simple language and an easy question-and-answer format to guide us. Earth Speaks—Messages from Mother Earth by Pamela Kribbe (This is one of six incredible books by this author) Have you ever considered the possibility that Earth is alive and has a consciousness of her own? If so, wouldn’t you want to know what Earth has to tell us about who she is and about who we are? In this book you will find messages from Earth, which Pamela Kribbe has received through channeling. Earth speaks is about the living consciousness that is present in plants and animals and invites people to reconnect with nature. Above all, she beckons us to come home to our own nature. By thinking and controlling less, and trusting our original, feeling nature, we will create more joy and balance in our lives. The Untethered Soul—The Journey Beyond Yourself by Michael A. Singer What would it be like to be free from limitations and soar beyond your boundaries? What can you do each day to find this kind of inner peace and freedom? The Untethered Soul offers a simple, profoundly intuitive answer to these questions. Whether this is your first exploration of inner space or you’ve devoted your life to the inward journey, this book will transform your relationship with yourself and the world around you. I hope this sparks your own curiosity and nudges you to explore the questions that have been quietly growing inside you. The spiritual book market has boomed over the past 15 years, offering more options than ever before. And I see this as a beautiful reflection of the massive consciousness shift happening all across our planet. It’s only just begun. Wild-Heart Practice of the Week:The “Shelf-Stroll”

4/15/26 Hello Wild Souls, Song-Carriers, Quiet Listeners, and Those Tuning Themselves to What Matters! Image by Kev from Pixabay.com Happy to declare—April is officially my favorite month of the year. Why? Yesterday (and a few days before that), I was serenaded by a Carolina Wren. He perched himself on the top railing of my deck and sang at the top of his lungs. It was mesmerizing… watching the soft feathers on his throat trilling as he called out. He’d sing—then pause, as if listening.Then...
4/1/26 Greetings Wild-Hearted Friends, Deep Feelers, Gentle Healers, and Sacred Pausers. My life completely changed forever last week. On Wednesday, Pieces and Willis both crossed over. I have seen this coming for months as they were both 15 years old….so I did have time to prepare myself. But some things you just can’t prepare for...some things you just have to wing on the fly. I shared more of their story—and some of my favorite photos—here if you’d like to see:...
3/11/26 Greetings, Wild-Hearts, Truth-Tellers, Light-Followers, and Builders of a Different Kind of Life. I too crave a different kind of buzz. From the very first time I heard the song Royals by Lorde, something about those lyrics captivated me. The words felt gritty and messy but also deeply real. I could sense there was truth hiding in them… but I struggled to understand the metaphors for a long time. If you want to get a better sense of what I’m talking about, take three minutes and...
