10/29/25 Greetings, fellow wild-hearted wanderers, meaning-makers, hope-dealers, light-bringers, and bridge-builders. A song popped into my orbit yesterday. I didn’t realize its full magnitude until I paused with the feeling it stirred in me — a feeling that asked me to linger… listen… breathe… and feel. I had just uploaded my latest mountain stream reel to my Facebook page. When creating a reel, one of the options is to choose background music — and those suggestions are often spot-on in essence. That’s how I’ve discovered new musicians whose work feels like medicine. Usually, I only need to sample a few songs before I find one that matches the mood I’m trying to extend through the video. 🎧 Pause here and listen: Turns out, I had chosen another one of Lenzspot’s songs — “Happy Place” — just a few days earlier. So naturally, the algorithm nudged me toward more of their music. It’s funny how sometimes a creator just nails what your soul needed in a moment — a painting that stirs something deep, a poem that puts words to your ache, a song that meets you right where you are. Lately, I’ve been sensing our collective hunger for deeper connection — to be surrounded by things that actually mean something. I don’t know about you, but I’m tired of the mindless, petty noise swirling around. It feels like decay in the air. So today, I simply wanted to offer this. If this song speaks to you too, I’d love to hear what moved in you — or what songs, words, or moments have landed on your path lately and brought meaning or joy into your day. Let’s keep lifting one another up, balancing our energy with things — and people — that vibrate at higher levels. It’s one of the most beautiful ways we express love. 💫 Learn more about Lenzspot here. And because these words deserve a moment of stillness — here are the lyrics to “Spiritual Peace and Happiness”, released just a few days ago (October 23, 2025). Close your eyes, breathe it in credits

11/27/25 Greetings Creators, Collaborators, Hope-Dealers, Bridge-Builders and Bringers of Light! If you’re new here — welcome. Field Notes is a weekly dispatch of reflection and soul care sent every week. It’s Thanksgiving Day here in America. And this is the first year in many years that I did not make a made-from-scratch pumpkin pie. I distinctly remember when I was living in Tennessee ….when I decided from that day forward I would always make a pumpkin pie for Thanksgiving. This was due to...
11/21/25 Hello, quiet souls finding meaning in ordinary moments. A Note on Gratitude (and a Slow Driver) I didn’t feel inspired when I sat down to write this. No big revelation. No thunderbolt of insight.Just a small memory from my moment on the road. There was a driver in front of me going slower than I wanted. You know that feeling — the tightening, the impatience, the silent wishing they would just move along. And then something unexpected happened. I thought:What if? What if that driver...
11/12/25 Hello, fire-starters, edge-walkers, and audacious hearts! What if? What if you went digging through my blog posts and landed on a post from October 19, 2012?I’ll save you the trouble and share it here — because it’s worthy of a revisit 14 years later. Here's a recap. My gosh, how time flies. Back in 2012, I was just beyond hobby-artist territory — painting, experimenting, and looking for new ways to stretch my creative wings. Somewhere along the way, I stumbled upon a call for...
