01/14/26 Greetings Wildhearted Wanderers, Hope-Dealers, Bridge-Builders and Bringers of Light! Listen...if you haven’t heard...I’m about to share something that is creating positive change in the world! Words cannot truly express what was felt on Monday. My friend Lana Lander suggested we go see the venerable monks and the Walk for Peace with our own eyes and hearts. They were only 2 hours away and the opportunity to see them walking in a less crowded space arrived on Monday. So we went. I’ve read numerous other accounts of the overwhelming sense of emotion when you see them. And it’s true. It happened to me too. Like a wind of hope and love and peace just swirled around and right through you. Silence fell as they walked by. Not one word was spoken by anyone. You could feel the air change. Like the energy centers of these venerable monks were now riding the wind itself. It changed the air around them and you could feel it flow through you as they passed by. And then it lingered for long time even after they crested the next hill. And I encourage you to look up this Walk for Peace on Facebook. Is primarily where you’ll find the light surrounding this incredible journey on foot...from Texas to Washington D.C. This is the way. 01/22/26 Greetings Wildhearted Friends! Here we go...it’s threatening winter weather season. And as a major winter weather event heads across the land, here comes the next big reminder of how much we rely upon power and water sources for heat and survival. 01/07/26 Hello, wildhearted, truth-tellers, hope-dealers and beautiful souls! The Uncomfortable Middle So here we are...staring into the face of 2026. And I feel a bit...discombobulated. Sometimes the space after the old is cleared (thank you 2025...definitely a “deep clean” of a year) feels a lot like a train that’s loaded but hasn’t left the station yet. Some passengers are still saying their goodbyes, while others are just arriving, and the platform hums with unfinished business,...
12/31/25 Greetings Wildhearted Souls! I had just finished doing some work clearing brush from an embankment on some very wild and rustic mountain property and paused for a few moments to bathe in the surrounding silence. While working I noticed that I could hear traffic noises from I-26 (very deep and low truck sounds), which was a little surprising because I was quite a few miles from the highway. (Sound travels and bounces around in odd ways in the mountains.) But from this...I began to...
